I have a new fascination for land yachts . What do you think of this? ‘12 $24K, 40K miles, clean one owner Carfax v8 RWD

Not a fan of chrome wheels but that can be fixed

Can’t have it all. The one in mine is basically the same since 2009. As long as Bluetooth works fine and I can play music off of USB I’ll take it. I use a Gar min/Phone for n avigation anyway.

My MR2 is a less than stellar example of Toyota build quality but my faith hasn’t been sufficiently shook to dissuade me of a big ol’ Lexus next. In particular a LS600h (London living = Hyb rid driving) or maybe a GS450h since I’m not a 100% sure if the LS is not too long to get out of my street.

Definitely NP, even with the vintage electronics.  Lots of car for the money.    Appears to use a modified version of the cruise control stalk seen since the Crusades.

As much as I want something more fun like the Stinger Gt or an SS I keep looking at 10 year old Lexus land yachts and can’t help but think that the prices are too good to not go that route.

I yearn for a land yacht mostly  when I’m driving highway where I would love the comfort, quietness and a superior audio system. Otherwise, my commute is just 5 miles one way through some suburbs so I can totally daily a more sporty car.

Acceptable price from a dealer, you can probably get $1k off of that. The LS is the epitome of the car that I really really want to love, but just can’t live with  every time i sit in it.

Those would be a nice place to spend some miles.  I sometimes check out ads for them when I tire of dealing with the Germaness of my S8.

Great, timeless design. Both inside and out. I’d probably say NP given the condition and miles. I’d have a hard time with that old infotainment but the rest of it kind of makes up for it.
